Comments or complaints about an Entity Service Provider (ESP), which includes, general community and specialty legal clinics (clinic) or Student Legal Services Organizations (SLSO)
Contact the clinic/SLSO directly. This is the first stage in LAO’s complaints process. Each clinic/SLSO in Ontario is an independent corporation and all complainants must first complete the clinic’s/SLSOs complaints process.
If you are dissatisfied once the clinic/SLSO complaints process has been completed, and you have a written decision from the clinic/SLSO, you can request that LAO’s Vice President, Clinic Law Services Division, review the decision. To begin this process, please contact LAO’s Complaints Department directly and provide a copy of the clinic/SLSO’s written complaint resolution.
