Legal Aid Ontario sets dates for racialized communities strategy meeting

Published: October 11, 2017

Legal Aid Ontario (LAO) will be holding a number of in-person and online meetings between October and December to meet with people from racialized communities as well as the lawyers, community legal clinics, and other community agencies that serve them to talk about the issues faced when it comes to getting the legal services needed.

A consultation paper and a set of questions was made available in July to serve as a starting point for discussion.

Anyone who is interested in attending either an in-person or online consultation session is welcome to register. Requests for meetings are also encouraged so that LAO can arrange, where possible, to have an interpreter to help facilitate discussions. LAO also welcomes written submissions either through our website or by emailing rcs@lao.on.ca.
