Tere’s still time to nominate them for the 2023 Sidney B. Linden Access to Justice Award—the deadline has been extended to Friday, Dec. 1 at 5 p.m.
About the award
The award is named after Justice Sidney B. Linden, the first chair of Legal Aid Ontario (LAO), who has been involved with legal aid for over 38 years.
LAO created the award to honour exceptional individuals who have demonstrated a longstanding commitment to supporting low-income Ontarians with access to justice.

- Lawyers in the private sector
- Community legal clinic staff
- People who work at a Student Legal Aid Services Society
- Paralegals
- Academics
- LAO staff lawyers and employees
- Other professionals
