Block fee rates and pricing

A block fee payment includes all services provided under the certificate. It also includes the following associated costs:

  • sending faxes and photocopying (except for photocopying services provided by a third party);
  • process servers; and
  • service and filing of documents in Ontario.

Block fee pricing is based on LAO’s current costs for these criminal cases, and is subject to all relevant tariff increases.

The applicable block fee rate is determined by the certificate issue date.
