Call for 2021 nominations for the Sidney B. Linden Award

It’s time to send in your nominations for the Sidney B. Linden Award! The deadline for submission is Friday, November 12, 2021, at 5 p.m.

The award is named after Justice Sidney B. Linden, the first chair of Legal Aid Ontario (LAO), who has been involved with legal aid for over 35 years. LAO created the Sidney B. Linden Award to honour exceptional individuals who have demonstrated a longstanding commitment to helping low income people, and given their time, expertise, and/or service to ensuring access to justice in Ontario.

Community legal clinic staff
People who work at a Student Legal Aid Services Society
Paralegals
Academics
LAO staff lawyers and employees
Other professionals

Please consider nominating someone you know by completing the nomination form and sending it to LAO’s Communications department.

NOTE: At this time, LAO is unable to accept hard copy submissions. All submissions will need to be emailed with .doc or .pdf files. These can be either sent to us as email attachments or as a link to a Google Drive folder. (Dropbox cannot be used).
