Human Rights Legal Support Centre (HRLSC)
The Human Rights Legal Support Centre (HRLSC) provides free legal assistance to individuals throughout Ontario who have experienced discrimination contrary to Ontario’s Human Rights Code. The HRLSC is seeking applications for an Executive Coordinator to provide executive administrative support to the Executive Director and its Board of Directors. This position’s primary responsibilities will focus on providing administrative and business support to the Executive Director, Board of Directors and Executive Team. Duties will also include assisting with annual reporting and responding to public inquiries.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in administrative and business practices within an executive office in the public sector, preferably in a legal environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel) is essential. The candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills for handling sensitive and confidential matters, and when representing the Office of the Executive Director with internal and external contacts. A commitment to cultural competence and the ability to work respectfully in a diverse work environment is crucial.
This is a full-time, permanent position and is located in Toronto. This position will work collaboratively as part of the HRLSC’s Executive Team, and report to the Executive Director. The HRLSC provides a competitive total compensation package. The salary range for this position is $59,603 – $75,840. The usual hours of work are 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
