Service Coordinator

Legal Assistance of Windsor (LAW) is seeking a permanent, full-time service coordinator, with a start date on or after April 2, 2024.

LAW is an interdisciplinary clinic combining legal and social work professions to meet the multi-faceted needs of the low-income community in Windsor and Essex County. About the Position
The service coordinator leads and supervises the clinic’s administration team, and is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks that ensure the daily functioning of the clinic. Such tasks include responsibilities related to client intake, human resources, IT, financial and grant management, and the volunteer board of directors. This position also
works closely with the Executive Director and bookkeeper of the clinic in a supportive capacity.
Minimum Requirements
- Substantial office administration and management experience.
- A college diploma or university degree in a relevant field, such as legal services or human resources.
- An awareness of trauma-informed practice and an understanding of the principles of intersectionality and anti-oppression.
- Assets include: experience with client intake, human resources, IT, financial and grant management, and the volunteer board of directors; experience working in a legal clinic or non-profit setting; and, the ability to provide services in a second language in addition to English.
Job Benefits
- Annual salary between $65,000 and $80,000, commensurate with experience.
