Complete your annual panel lawyer self‑report by March 31, 2020
Published: January 31, 2020
The annual self‑report for panel lawyers is now available in the Personal Info section of Legal Aid Online. You must complete your self‑report by March 31, 2020 to renew membership on legal aid panels, confirm ongoing compliance with panel standards, and update your panel standing.
This takes just a couple of minutes.
Further to Auditor General of Ontario recommendations, panel lawyers who do not file their self‑report by the deadline will be automatically redirected to the self‑report page, and will have limited Legal Aid Online functionality. Acknowledging new certificates and submitting accounts to LAO will not be possible until the report is filed. It may also result in removal from Legal Aid panels.
Thank you for keeping your panel status up to date. We look forward to receiving your report.
For questions about panel membership or conditional status, contact your district area office. If you require an exemption from the self‑report, you can request one by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
For technical difficulties with the online self‑report, contact the Lawyer Service Centre at 416‑979‑9934 or 1‑866‑979‑9934.
