Upgrades to Legal Aid Ontario’s contact centre

Legal Aid Ontario is pleased to share that we have upgraded our phone system to serve our callers better.

What’s new for callers to the Lawyer Service Centre?

You may notice a new voice to our phone system when you call the Lawyer Service Centre at 1-866-979-9934 or 416-979-9934.

The Lawyer Service Centre can be reached Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

What’s new for callers to the client contact centre?

Callers to our client contact centre can now navigate our phone menu in Spanish, in addition to English and French. Those requiring assistance in a language other than English, French or Spanish now have an additional option to connect immediately with a live agent for help.

Clients who have called us before may also notice a new voice with our Interactive Voice Response system.
