How to take a long screenshot on your mobile device
A long screenshot (also called a scrolling screenshot) lets you capture more content than what’s visible on your screen. This is useful for saving long documents and webpages.
For iPhone/iPad (iOS)
- Take a regular screenshot (press power + volume up buttons)
- Tap the screenshot preview
- Select “Full Page” at the top
- Tap “Done” to save
Note: This feature works in Safari and some built-in apps. Not all apps support full-page screenshots.
For Android devices
Note: Steps may vary depending on your phone brand
Samsung:
- Take a screenshot (Press power + volume down buttons)
- Tap the scrolling screenshot icon (looks like two downward arrows)
- Keep tapping until you’ve captured everything needed
Google Pixel:
- Take a screenshot
- Tap “Capture more”
- Adjust the crop box to select desired length
- Tap “Save”
