Legal Aid Online unavailable Nov. 1 for routine maintenance

Legal Aid Online will be unavailable from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 1, while we archive completed certificates.

This routine maintenance is called a purchase order close. It applies to certificates for concluded appeals and all cancelled, final billed or terminated certificates completed prior to June 1, 2020.

This process will now also include Big Case Management, Protocol Case Unit and Test Case certificates. These certificates will be archived if they were completed prior to June 1, 2017.

Certificates that will not be closed include:

Pending appeal matters
Certificates with accounts in exception

No action is required on your part.

Please note that archived certificates will no longer be visible on Legal Aid Online. To inquire about previously archived certificates, contact the Lawyer Service Centre.
