Legal Aid Online will be offline Sept. 7 for maintenance

Legal Aid Online will be unavailable on Sunday Sept. 7, from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. ET to archive and remove completed certificates from the portal. The work, originally scheduled for Saturday July 26, could not be completed due to technical issues.

The archiving and removal of completed certificates is routine maintenance, and applies to concluded appeals and all cancelled, final billed or terminated certificates completed before June 1, 2019.

Certificates that will not be closed include:

Big Case Management cases
Protocol Case Unit cases
Appeals pending
Cases with accounts in exception
Group Application and Test Cases

No action is required.

Accounts older than June 1, 2019 will no longer be visible on Legal Aid Online. To enquire about previously closed certificates, contact the Lawyer Service Centre.
