Legal Aid Ontario (LAO) is pleased to invite you to an upcoming CPD session on Enhanced Pre-Sentencing Reports (EPSR) also known as Impact of Race and Culture Assessment (IRCA) reports.

Date: Tuesday, August 12, 2025
Time: 4 – 5 p.m. (EST)

This one-hour session will explore the structure, content, and evolving use of EPSRs/IRCAs in Ontario. Whether you are new to this area or looking to refine your approach, this webinar will provide valuable insights.

Topics covered will include:

• What are IRCAs and how to use them effectively
• How to find the right expert for your client
• What should and should not be included in EPSR/IRCA reports
• LAO’s eligibility requirements and application processes for these reports

This session is being developed and presented in partnership with the African Nova Scotian Justice Institute (ANSJI) and the Sentencing and Parole Project (SPP).

Note: CPD accreditation from the Law Society of Ontario is pending.
