Published: May 21, 2025
Legal Aid Ontario (LAO) is refining Service Integration and aspects of the duty counsel worksheet in Legal Aid Online to enhance the accuracy of information recorded and improve reporting on client services.
The changes, which will come into effect on June 14, include new fields and options to capture data such as:
- Income and asset amounts
- Client family size
- Financial eligibility
- How clients appear in court (virtually, in person or at all)
LAO will be providing mandatory training on the enhancements from June 2 to June 11, 2025. Participation is required and you will be compensated for your time. If you are unable to attend, please ensure you view the training, which will be available in English and French shortly after the live sessions.
