2. Clinic and SLASS Funding for 2019/20 (Continued)
The Board reconvened to consider the remaining items from the May 24, 2019 Board meeting, including the clinic savings plan recommendations with respect to specialty clinics, and general service clinics. The Board discussed at length the options provided in making its decision.
DECISION: The Board approved the 2019/20 targeted savings plan for clinics and SLASS, with the following modifications:

The budget reductions to Advocacy Centre for Tenants Ontario and Income Security Advocacy Centre will be reduced to 25% each, to be phased in over two years beginning in the 2019/20 fiscal year,

The budget reduction to Canadian Environmental Law Association will be maintained at 37%, phased in over two years beginning in the 2019/20 fiscal year,

The budget reduction to Landlord Self渱Help Centre will be increased to 20% effective in the 2019/20 fiscal year,

The budget reductions to Industrial Accident Victims Group of Ontario, Injured Workers Community Legal Clinic, and Workers’ Health & Safety Legal Clinic will be 22%, 13% and 22% respectively, effective in the 2019/20 fiscal year, and that LAO staff are directed to work with the three clinics to support them in absorbing the funding reduction,

The 45% budget reduction to Parkdale Community Legal Services will be phased in over two years beginning in 2019/20.
