12 month contract

West Toronto Community Legal Services (WTCLS) has a 12 month contract position available for a full-time articling student. The contract is to start in early July, 2021.

WTCLS is a community based legal clinic which provides legal services to low income people in West Toronto. The articling student will be joining a busy practice in the areas of housing law and social assistance law. There is also an opportunity for exposure to employment and immigration law. The position will provide an excellent opportunity to gain skills in the areas of client interviewing, oral and written advocacy, negotiation, legal research, and practice management. The housing law work will involve significant litigation at the Landlord and Tenant Board.


$45,000 plus 5.5% RRSP contribution and extended health benefits.
