Legal Aid Ontario (LAO) strives to provide services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of our clients. We are committed to giving all clients equal access our services. LAO has made every effort to ensure that its website meets or exceeds web accessibility standards.
Initiatives and documentation
Our commitment extends to all communication methods, including but not limited to written, online, telephone-based and in-person.

LAO's advisory committee meets quarterly to discuss, and providing insight and advice about the organizationís accessibility plans.
The accessibility roadmap outlines all ongoing projects at LAO to improve accessibility services for Ontarians. Information will be updated regularly as projects advance.
General feedback about Legal Aid Ontario's accessibility process can be provided at any time through our online form or other communications methods.
Notice of accessibility interruption
Occasionally, some LAO services may be temporarily unavailable due to electrical outages or network issues. In these circumstances, LAO will post information on alternative ways to services on its homepage and through the Legal Aid Ontario Twitter account.
There are currently no disruptions to the available accessibility devices at all locations.
