Full-Time Staff Lawyer
West Toronto Community Legal Services, a community legal clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario, is seeking an experienced Staff Lawyer. We practice in all areas of clinic law, with emphasis on Landlord and Tenant and Income Security law. Lawyers with 10-15 years of experience are preferred but applications from less experienced, qualified candidates will be considered. The ability to speak a second language will be an asset.
Position Requirements:
- Member in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada
- Familiarity with clinic law issues and an understanding of social justice issues
- Excellent research, writing and advocacy skills
- Proficiency with MSWord
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
This is a full-time position. Salary is commensurate with experience and LAO funding. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package and RRSP benefit.
