Questions and Answers
Updated: July 29 /08
Listed below are some questions we've received regarding the Clinic Relationship Consultations being held throughout the province starting in September 2008. If you have a question that is not addressed on this page please contact the LAO VP in your region (see below) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
How will the consultation work?
LAO will be holding a number of consultation sessions throughout the province, with LAO staff, clinic staff and boards, and external stakeholders. In addition, the ACLCO will be consulting with its members and submitting a consultation report to LAO.
Written submissions on the policy paper are welcomed. Submissions may be e-mailed to email@example.com by December 19, 2008.
Where will consultations be held?
The in-person consultation sessions arranged by LAO will take place in Belleville, Chatham, Hamilton, Ottawa, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, Toronto and Windsor.
Consultations with external stakeholders will begin in September.
Consultations with clinic staff and boards will take place in November. Exact dates and meeting venues have not yet been determined. Updates will be posted on this website
The ACLCO may be organizing in-person and teleconference meetings with its members prior to the November in-person consultations with clinic staff and boards. Contact the ACLCO for information on these sessions.
What if I can't make it to a consultation session?
LAO wants to ensure that everyone who wants to contribute has the opportunity to do so. If you are a clinic staff or board member and cannot attend an in-person session, you are invited to make written submissions to LAO at firstname.lastname@example.org by December 19th. External stakeholders are also invited to send written submissions to the same address.
You may also provide input to the ACLCO, which will be consulting with members and making a written submission on behalf of clinics.
What if I have questions about the paper or the consultation process?
If you have questions about the paper or the consultation process, contact the LAO VP in your region. If you are a staff or board member of a specialty clinic, contact the Director Communication & Innovation. Contact info is as follows:
