LAO discusses access to justice for Aboriginals with CBC
Monday, December 2, 2013
Legal Aid Ontario’s (LAO) John McCamus was a recent guest on CBC’s Superior Morning to discuss what LAO is doing in collaboration with its Aboriginal justice partners to improve access to legal services for the Aboriginal community.
In Thunder Bay for the Nishnawbe-Aski Nation-wide Justice Summit as one of its keynote speakers, LAO’s chair was joined by LAO’s Aboriginal Justice Strategy Policy counsel, Fallon Melander, in CBC’s studios. Both provided greater detail about what LAO is doing to address the legal crisis in Canada — for Aboriginal people and LAO at large.
