Register for information sessions on case management and tariff pre-authorizations
Posted on: Wednesday, November 21, 2012
Legal Aid Ontario (LAO) has introduced new initiatives related to case management and tariff pre-authorizations, which come into effect on certificates issued on or after November 26, 2012.
These changes reflect the feedback LAO received from the bar during eight province-wide consultations regarding criminal mid-level case management, family case management and tariff pre-authorization initiatives.
To help you understand the details of these changes, we are offering live, web-based information sessions for LAO panel lawyers and their staff. These sessions will include information on:
- case management program for costly, complex family and criminal law (non-BCM) matters
- tariff pre-authorizations in summary conviction trials and status reviews (society to Crown wardship)
- an opportunity to have your questions answered by LAO’s in-house experts
Please note these webinar sessions are currently available in English only. Sessions in French are available on request.
Following your registration, LAO will send you a confirmation email that will contain the webinar link and telephone number to login to the session.
