Statement regarding the Criminal Lawyers' Association boycott of serious cases

Legal Aid Ontario is monitoring the situation to ensure our clients have access to quality legal services. LAO is committed to an efficient and effective legal aid program in Ontario that delivers quality legal services for low-income people and value for taxpayers. LAO will work with justice system stakeholders to ensure that low-income people in Ontario continue to have access to quality legal aid services.
