Hardcap Detail Report on Legal Aid Online

Solicitors will notice that a new feature has been added to their Portal Home page (aka Legal Aid Online). This is the Hardcap Status Information report. This will enable the solicitor to check their Hardcap limit which is particularly important near the end of the fiscal year.

To navigate, notice the link called Hardcap Status Information on the Home page:


Clicking on this brings up the following page:


Notice that there is a box at the top of the Hardcap page asking you to enter a fiscal year. Do not enter a year here, instead, click on the hour glass sysmbol beside the box:


And click on the year you want to see:


This will take you back to the Hardcap Status Information page where your report will be displayed.

Some Things to Remember

  1. The information displayed is refreshed after each Pay Cycle run
  2. Up to April 1st of each year, two years of Hardcap information can be chosen. For instance, up to April 1st, 2008, the Fiscal years 2007 and 2008 are your choice. After April 1st, the source of the Hardcap information is refreshed to Fiscal years 2008 and 2009.
