The complaints process
Legal Aid Ontario has created diagrams to show you the steps required to file and resolve a complaint.
See all three stages in one diagram.
The initial complaint, about a service provided by Legal Aid Ontario, a legal clinics, or a service provider (lawyer).
If the complaint is not resolved at the first stage, it is usually sent to the Complaints Department.
If the Complaints Department cannot resolve the issue, the complaint is sent to General Counsel.
